In Eagles Crew

In D.T. (Design and Technology), we have made successful moon buggies and delicious flavoured bread.

Moon Buggies

In the autumn of 2022, we made some moon buggies which was really hard because we had to measure accurately. With the moon buggies, we had to cut wood into different shapes and sizes. We also had to name our moon buggies and decorate them. As well as that, we all had to add a motor (which would power the whole moon buggy), batteries and make our own switch with split pins, paper clip, wire and wood. Next, we had a race with them. It was very exhilarating and this project helped us make stronger bonds.

Making Bread

We also made bread which was fun as we tested bread by eating it and then made our own. We also got to choose our own toppings which could be sweet or savory. Making the mixture, we split it into groups of three then added our toppings. After that, we shaped it, put it into the oven and waited for it to cook. Finally, when it came out the oven, we got to eat it.
